Starlyware is an independent software development studio and technology lab founded by Gianluca Grasso, dedicated to building high-performance, robust, and user-centric digital tools. We design modern web platforms, bespoke management utilities, and provide reliable hardware IT support with a rigorous engineering mindset and complete operational clarity.

The Starlyware name originates from the union of two key concepts: "Star", in tribute to a genuine passion for astronomy and to Mariarosaria Stella, a moral guide and cornerstone throughout the entrepreneurial journey; and "ware", referencing both software and hardware ecosystems in which we operate and build every day.

With an enduring commitment to code quality and sustainable architectures, Starlyware serves as a dedicated technological partner for professionals, growing businesses, and startups.

Evolution & Roots

Our Story

Starlyware was born from a simple yet ambitious goal: applying genuine technical skills and engineering passion to empower everyday workflows and businesses.

Our roots go back to 2013 when, under the original name Best Maker Software, software developer Gianluca Grasso began creating first-generation applications: from video games to native Android tools, as well as early experiments in algorithmic automation and Windows utilities.

Over the following years, that foundation matured into a sharpened focus on stable desktop and web architectures, proprietary code, and hands-on hardware diagnostics.

In 2019, that evolution culminated in the rebranding to Starlyware: a cohesive, forward-looking identity ready to tackle modern technological challenges.
