The Company

Starlyware is an Italian software house founded and managed by Gianluca Grasso, with the goal of developing modern, reliable, and user-oriented digital solutions. The company specializes in the design and development of web applications, custom software, and innovative digital tools, with a strong focus on usability and code quality.

The name Starlyware, created by Marinella Fratini, comes from the union of two core concepts: "Star", in tribute to a passion for astronomy and to Mariarosaria Stella, whose presence and support have been a guiding force throughout the entrepreneurial journey; and "ware", a direct reference to the world of software and hardware, fields in which the company constantly operates and innovates.

With a future-focused vision and a quality-driven approach, Starlyware positions itself as a technological partner for startups, companies, and professionals.

Our Story

Starlyware was born from a simple yet ambitious idea: to improve people's lives by sharing our skills and passion for technology with the world.

Our roots go back to 2013, when, under the name Best Maker Software, programmer Gianluca Grasso — with the valuable support of Mariarosaria — launched the first projects, ranging from gaming to Android applications, and even experiments in the field of artificial intelligence.

In the following years, many of these projects were set aside to focus energy and resources on solutions more aligned with our long-term vision.

In 2019, the path we had taken led to an important turning point: the change of name to Starlyware, a symbol of our identity and our future direction.

Today, after more than a decade, our “blue Star” continues to shine, guiding us toward new challenges and innovations.
