What is WildLife

The nature of Abruzzo, all in one app

WildLife is a free Android app that guides you through the nature of Abruzzo, in central Italy. Developed by Starlyware, an independent studio based in Chieti, it brings together the places that make Abruzzo one of the greenest regions in Europe: three national parks (Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise; Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga; Majella), the Sirente-Velino Regional Park and dozens of reserves and oases.

Every place has photos, a description, tips, directions, what to see and the wildlife you might meet. Trails show length, elevation gain, duration and altitude; you can filter by category, province, park, activity and difficulty, or open the map to see what is near you. Beyond nature, you will find the villages and the experiences to live in the area.

When you reach a place, tap "I'm here": the GPS confirms your visit, you earn points and unlock badges for peaks, lakes, villages, hermitages and seasons, leveling up from Beginner to Legendary explorer. A private journal with photos keeps your memories, and the trip planner prepares your next outing with a packing checklist.
